The Dune gives a patio the texture of natural fiber with the durability of synthetic cord. Seat and back are woven in tan outdoor rope across a wood-tone frame with straight, open arms. It looks at home with timber decking, linen umbrellas and olive trees, and it is comfortable without a cushion.
The cord is solution-dyed, so the color runs through the fiber, and it is tensioned around the full frame rather than glued at the ends. Rope color and frame finish can be changed per project. Rinse occasionally with fresh water and a soft brush to remove pollen and dust from the weave.
Comfort and service. The woven seat flexes slightly under weight, which makes the Dune comfortable for a long lunch without a cushion; a tie-on pad can still be added for lounge-style service. The straight arms give guests something to lean on and make the chair easy to pull back from the table. It stacks less tightly than slatted chairs, so check the stack count on your drawing when planning storage.
