Specified for weather, not for the showroom

Outdoor furniture fails at the details: trapped water, the wrong fastener, a coating rated for a dry climate. We spec aluminum frames, open-cell quick-dry foam, solution-dyed outdoor fabrics and stainless hardware, and we upgrade the coating system and fasteners for coastal and rooftop sites when you tell us where the furniture will live.

Booths built for the curb and the rooftop

Most outdoor seating is loose chairs because outdoor booths are hard to build well. Ours drain through the seat deck, ride off the ground on glides, and come in streetery versions that knock down by hand, carry water ballast, bridge the curb gutter or double as a planter edge.

You deal with the people who cut the aluminum. We draw every booth run and table layout to your measurements, you approve it, and production starts only then. That removes a distributor margin and, more importantly, the guesswork that turns a patio fit-out into a re-order.

04How we work
  1. 1

    Brief and site plan

Send a sketch or plan of the patio, rooftop or curb lane with dimensions, the seat count you need, your exposure (coastal, rooftop, shaded) and how the furniture is stored at night or in winter.

  2. 2

    Layout and specification

We propose a mix of booths, chairs and tables, check aisle widths and accessible seating, and specify frames, coatings, fabrics and foam for your climate. You receive a written spec with quoted options.

  3. 3

    Shop drawings and sample

Dimensioned shop drawings for every custom piece. On request we make a pre-production sample or send frame, fabric and finish swatches so you can approve color and build quality before the run.

  4. 4

    Production and inspection

Frames are cut, welded, pretreated and powder-coated, then upholstered and assembled. We check dimensions, welds, coating and stacking against the approved drawing and share photos before packing.

  5. 5

    Packing, shipping and install

Export cartons, corner protection and flat-packed booth panels where possible. We ship FOB, CIF or DDP, provide a packing list and assembly guide, and support your installer by video or email on arrival.

07FAQ
What is the best material for commercial outdoor restaurant furniture?

For most patios, powder-coated aluminum is the best all-round frame material: it does not rust, it is light enough to stack and move nightly, and it can be coated in any color. Pair it with solution-dyed outdoor fabrics, quick-dry foam and stainless fasteners. Teak suits resort looks if you accept weathering or oiling. Steel is cheaper and heavier but will rust wherever the coating chips, so we avoid it for coastal and rooftop sites.

Can outdoor booths really be left out in the rain?

Yes, if they are built for it. Our outdoor booths have perforated seat decks pitched to drain, open-cell quick-dry foam that lets water pass straight through, aluminum frames and raised plinths. Water drains instead of pooling. Cushions still dry faster and last longer if staff tip them up or store them in long wet spells, and you should never treat an indoor booth with an outdoor fabric as an outdoor booth.

How much space do I need per seat on a restaurant patio?

A common planning range is about 15-18 sq ft (1.4-1.7 m²) per seat for table-service patios, including aisles, and more for loose lounge seating. Booth runs along a wall are the most space-efficient. Your local code sets occupant load and exit rules, and accessible routes need at least 36 in (91 cm) clear width under ADA. Check your final layout with your architect or permit office.

Where is Alfresco Seat furniture made?

In EASEN's own production base in Lecong, Foshan, in China's Guangdong province, the world's largest furniture trading hub. We do not have a US warehouse or workshop. We manufacture to order and ship direct by sea, which is why we can build custom lengths, colors and fabrics without carrying stock.

How long does a custom patio furniture order take?

Typically 30-45 days for standard designs and 45-60 days for custom work, counted from approval of shop drawings and any sample, plus ocean transit and customs clearance. Your quote confirms the timeline for your specific items. For a spring opening, we recommend fixing the layout in winter so furniture lands before the season.

Do you make streetery and roadway dining furniture?

Yes. Our streetery systems include knock-down booths for seasonal removal, booths with built-in water ballast chambers that act as the barrier, curb-gutter bridge pieces, planter-backed booths and anchored lockable benches. Every city program has its own rules, so send us the design guide and we will build to its dimensions and details.
