Many roadway dining programs are seasonal: the structure goes in each spring and must come out again before winter. Welded booths make that a job for a crew with saws. The Fold-Down is assembled from back, seat and side panels that slot together on locating pins and lock with 50 mm (2 in) knurled hand knobs in an antique-bronze finish. No tools are needed, and the pins mean panels go back together without hunting for holes.
Disassembled, a section stacks to about 11 in (280 mm) high, and the heaviest single part weighs around 40 lb (18 kg), within what one person can carry. A whole street frontage of booths fits in a modest storeroom over winter.
The panels use the same aluminum structure and quick-dry upholstery as our permanent outdoor booths. Check your program's current installation and removal dates when planning storage.
Inventory made simple. Each section ships with numbered panels and a layout drawing, so the same booth goes back in the same position each spring. Hardware is captive to the panels wherever possible, which means fewer small parts to lose during removal. We recommend storing panels flat on pallets under breathable covers, with cushions bagged separately in a dry room.
