For venues that leave street seating out after closing, the worry is simple: arriving to find a section missing. The Night-Lock joins two 59 in (150 cm) sections into a single 118 in (300 cm) run with a 240 × 80 mm antique-bronze-finish lock plate fixed by countersunk bolts and a central lock. The front of the plinth has 80 mm anchor pockets housing 316 stainless anchor bolts that fix the run into the paving. A single section cannot be carried off, and the anchored run cannot be lifted.
The welt runs continuously across the joint so the bench reads as one piece, and the base stands 2 in (50 mm) clear for drainage. Drilling into a sidewalk or roadway needs permission from the property owner or the city; we note this on the contract, and the bench can be supplied without anchors where drilling is not allowed.
Seating in use. The bench works as a straight run along a curb or building line and pairs with loose two-tops or narrow ledge tables. Cushions use quick-dry foam with snaps underneath; for unstaffed overnight use, operators often choose cushion-free seats or bring cushions inside at close. Additional sections can be linked into longer anchored runs where your frontage allows.
